Cape Gas has a long standing association in the “Liquid Petroleum Gas” Industry ( LPG ), with more than 30 years experience and sound knowledge in this field.Cape Gas are registered members with the “Liquid Petroleum Gas Safety Association of Southern Africa” ( LPGSASA ).Our Installers are all Registered and Licensed with the South African Qualification and Certification Committee for Gas ( SAQCC ) and they carry the title of “Licensed Gas Practitioners”

Cape Gas presently has three shareholders, all who are directors and are actively involved in the running of the business on a day to day basis.We currently have a staff compliment of ten.Majority of all staff have been with Cape Gas for over twelve years.

In 2007, the company went through a major transformation and in 2008 the founder member Mr Piet Le Roux retired. Mr Clive Samra took over as MD and has grown the company significantly, since the restructuring As we are governed by the SABS we work in accordance to the SANS Codes 10087 -1 to 10087-7, and ensure full compliance with the Occupation Health & Safety Act. (OHS ACT) We are one of the leading Gas Installation Companies in the Western Cape. We are passionate in what we do, and all work, servicing, repairs & Maintenance is carried out on a professional basis applying the most important aspect of this industry to our workmanship. – SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY. All Staff members are fully trained and have Fire fighting and First Aid Certification.We offer the full spectrum of services in the LP Gas Industry, from installations in Residential, Commercial, Agricultural sites, to Industrial installations of Bulk Tanks, LP Gas Depot’s and Tank Farms. We also have a large number of clients in the Hospitality industry.Cape Gas is contracted to some of the leading LP Gas Supply Companies in the Western Cape.We were also involved with the “Eternal Flame of Democracy” that burns continually at the parliamentary building in Cape Town.

Cape Gas is involved with a number of industrial and commercial installations for BP South Africa, now called Oryx Energies Southern Africa, and are accredited with them, as well as Total Gaz, PureGas and were awarded the contract to manufacture and install the Reticulation for the new Avedia Energies depot in Airport Industria.

Cape gas has also been involved with a number of residential installations in some of the major Golf Estates in and around Cape Town and have been appointed as preferred installers for Energy Master Builders, Rainbow Chicken Farms and their Laboratories, LA Developers, Tydstroom Chicken Farms in the Western Cape.
